Physical Education
Sports activities are managed by the faculty in-charge of sports, as the college does not have a permanent and regular Director of Physical Education.

The college has a playground spread over a spacious area, including a basketball court, volleyball court, Kabbadi court, Kho kho court and a gymnasium. Football ground is used for handball and hockey too. A Table Tennis board has been installed in our college recently. To identify skilled players the college has been organizing District level Volleyball tournament for school girls in our campus. This has been organized for the past two years i.e. 2013 and 2014.In order to train the students in Martial Arts and Self Defense techniques like Taekwondo, Silambam and Judo we outsource experts from outside the college.
The college allots 3% of seat for sports student as per Government norms. All UG students are trained by visiting coachers. It is compulsory for all the first year under graduate students to take part in group events. Two credits are awarded for sports students. To enhance the strength and energy of the sport women nutritious foods are provided. The sport student can avail financial support from their departments. The college has a spacious ground to conduct its Annual sports Day. Students and staff are encouraged to take part in various sports events. To encourage the spirit of the winners and participants are given prizes and certificates in Annual sport day celebration.
