Department of Chemistry
Chemistry is the most fascinating subject that deals with every aspect of our life. It nurtures students from various disciplines and hence has been a subject of maximum demand. The knowledge gained through the study of chemistry opens many career pathways.
The Department of chemistry was established in the year 1965 for the pre-university course. Bachelor degree in Chemistry was started in the year 1968 with a few staff members. In 2017, our department was upgraded to the post-graduate department.The mission of our department is to provide quality education to the youngsters so that they can contribute in the development of the nation and create an academically sound environment that motivates and inspires excellence in teaching with a social concern.

To create an academically sound environment that nurtures, motivates and inspires excellence in teaching along with concern for society. To impart theoretical and practical training in different areas of chemistry which encourages creativity, insight development and a passion for science.
